Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Lunaris Digilab (“we”, “us”) for the Productive Believer mobile app and the website productivebeliever.com (together, “the Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Productive Believer helps you plan your day around the five daily prayers with prayer times, reminders, routines, tasks, notes, a daily reflection, a focus timer and reports. The app is currently free of charge and ad-free. Some features work without an account; others require a free account. We may add, change or remove features over time, and will try to give notice of significant changes.

• Give accurate information when you sign up and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• If you are under the age of digital consent in your country, use an account only with the permission of a parent or guardian.
• You can delete your account at any time in the app under Settings → Delete my account.

Please do not: break the law using the Service; try to access other people’s accounts or data; probe, overload or disrupt our servers; reverse-engineer the app except where the law allows; use bots or scrapers against the Service; or store content that is illegal or infringes someone else’s rights. We may suspend accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these rules.

Everything you write in the app — tasks, notes, reflections, routines — remains yours. You give us only the limited permission needed to store, sync and display it back to you. We do not claim ownership and do not use it for anything else.

Prayer times, the qibla direction, Hijri dates and the dates of blessed days are calculated with established methods and may differ by a few minutes — or for moon-sighting-based dates, by a day — from your local mosque or authority. The app is a planning aid, not a religious authority: for matters of worship, follow your local mosque and scholars. Quotations from the Quran and hadith are shown for reminder and reflection.

Donations are voluntary and support the development and running costs of the Service. They do not buy features, priority support or any other consideration and are generally non-refundable, unless the law requires otherwise. Payments are processed by Stripe.

The app, its design, logo and name are owned by Lunaris Digilab. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, under these Terms and the rules of the store you downloaded it from.

We work hard to keep the Service reliable, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. Reminders depend on your device’s settings and operating system and may occasionally be delayed or not delivered. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data; please keep your own copies of anything important. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may stop providing the Service or a feature; if we shut the Service down we will give reasonable notice where possible so you can keep a copy of your content.

We may update these Terms. We will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you in the app before they take effect. Questions? Write to [email protected].
